Voyager One’s Ride on the Magnetic Highway

-“For You To Enjoy And Share With Friends” –

NASA’s Voyager 1 spacecraft has entered a new region of our solar system that scientists feel is the final area the spacecraft has to cross before reaching interstellar space. It is now in the  heliosheath which is the outermost layer of the heliosphere.

The Voyager 1 spacecraft was launched by Nasa on September 5, 1977 to study the outer outer Solar System and Interstellar Medium. It has been operating for almost 35 years and 3 months. The spacecraft still receives routine commands and transmits data back to the Deep Space Network. It is the farthest man made object from Earth and will shortly become the first man made object to leave the Solar System.
