Scientists Captured the Sharpest Image Ever of Dying Stars

By using the Very Large Telescope Interferometer at ESO’s Paranal Observatory in Chile, scientists have managed to capture the sharpest image of dying star, or more precisely, the binary star system called IRAS 08 544-4431. The binary system is also known as V390 Velorum and is located in the constellation Vela that is 4,000 light-years away from our planet.
