The Mystery of Young Moon’s Volcanoes – NASA

Scientists considered volcanoes on the Moon as an old phenomenon that had finished their activity a billion years ago. However, according to a new research, it has been found about 70 new features called “Irregular Mare Patches” or IMP, that are about 100 million years old, in geological terms – extremely young.
