Dragon Captured By The International Space Station

This is the start of a new era in space travel and exploration. Dragon, launched by SpaceX, has successfully docked and transferred  over a 1000 pounds of cargo and supplies. This is the first time a commercial space ship has been used to supply the International Space Station.

With the Space Shuttle now obsolete Nasa has decided to use commercial companies for space launches for the time being. Very soon we will also be seeing commercial launches of tourist craft, such as Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic.
