US concerned about possible new space threat from Russia

Morning. We’re learning new details about the cryptic warning from the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee about a possible new space threat from Russia ABC. News reports that the threat involves Russia wanting to put a nuclear weapon in space a goal it has not yet accomplished. Now, Russia’s supposed intention is not to drop the weapon to earth but to possibly use it to target satellites. Reports say Russia launched a rocket last week carrying a top secret military payload. National security adviser, Jake Sullivan provided no details but did not deny a threat exists. They’re now called for President Biden to declassify all information relating to the threat so it can be discussed in the open public.
