The Sun’s Magnetic Field is About to Flip

Observations show that  the sun’s global magnetic field is about to flip, a sign that Solar Max has arrived. This happens about every eleven years.

The Suns electromagnetic influence, the current sheet, extends to the outer reaches of the solar system. During the reversal this field become very wavy and has an effect on the energetic particles that bombard the Earth.
