Scientists Discovered the First Gamma-Ray Pulsar in Another Galaxy

NASA’s Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope has discovered the powerful gamma-ray pulsar in the Tarantula Nebula that is located 163,000 light-years away from the Earth. The Tarantula Nebula belongs to a satellite galaxy near the Milky Way that is known as the Large Magellanic Cloud.
