Scientists Discovered Supermassive Black Hole Jet Illuminated by the Light from the Big Bang

Scientists from NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory have discovered a supermassive black hole jet that is illuminated by the oldest light that originated from the Big Bang. Namely, the jet is located in a system known as B3 0727+409, which is 300,000 light-years away from us. Astronomers found out that the light from the jet had been emitted when the Universe was only 2.7 billion years old.
