The Role of Saturn’s Moons in Rings’ Formation

According to many scientists, Saturn’s rings were created when its large ancient moon came too close and was torn into pieces by Saturn’s strong gravitational force. Although, Saturn has about 60 moons with Titan as the largest, scientists consider there were more moons even bigger than Titan, which also ended up in Saturn’s bands of rings.
