New Infrared Images of Orion Nebula Shed Lights on Stellar Mystery

Using ESO’s Visible and Infrared Survey Telescope for Astronomy (VISTA), scientists have captured these spectacular near-infrared images of Orion Nebula that may help them solve a so-called stellar mystery. Namely, they have tried to find out why our Universe is overcrowded with the low-mass stars.
