NASA Briefs Media on Antares Launch Status

NASA hosted a press briefing on April 16 to discuss the launch of Orbital Sciences Corporation’s Antares rocket. Since the conference the scheduled date of test launch has been delayed due to technical issues.

The countdown for the first launch of the Orbital Sciences Corp. Antares rocket was halted 12 minutes before liftoff yesterday after an Ethernet umbilical cable prematurely disconnected from the booster.
