India is planning to send an orbiter to Mars with lift off in November 2013. The mission is to cost in the region of £50 million pounds abut the rocket planned for launching the orbiter is not very powerful. This means that the payload and instrumentation will be very limited.

Not surprisingly there are questions marks whether this project is in the best interests of the Indian people.
