Astronomers Take the Pulse of a Distant Galaxy

Astronomers at Yale and Harvard have announced that they found a new technique to measure the pulse from galaxies. They have measured pulsation from a distant galaxy, known as Messier 87, which is 53 million light-years away from the Earth.
