25 years of the Hubble Space Telescope – NASA

NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope was launched on April 24th, 1990. Today, NASA and ESA are celebrating its 25th anniversary with the new release of Westerlund 2, a huge cluster of approximately 3,000 stars. It is located in the Carina constellation, which is 20,000 light years away from us.
