It Is the Right Time for Geminid Meteor Shower – NASA

Every year in December, planet Earth moves through a dusty trail of 3200 Phaeton comet, producing the biggest annual meteor shower. This year, we can expect Geminid meteor shower to reach its maximum on December 13th and 14th. It can be much better seen in nature, without city lights that hinder this spectacular view.
