Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko Will Reach Perihelion This Summer

Astronomers expect that the comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko will reach its peak position on the summer sky, on August 13th, this year. This will cause the appearance of the coma since the comet’s approach to the Sun will release a lot of its gas and dust.
