X-Shaped Structure Is Found at the Center of the Milky Way

Using data from NASA’s Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) mission, scientists found the X-shaped structure that lies at the center of the Milky Way. They published a study in the Astronomical Journal that explains the intriguing formation and can shed light on the bulge of stars in the center of the Milky Way.
