Planets, Constellations, and Events in the July Night Sky

During the following month, Saturn and Jupiter appear as the evening planets. We can observe Jupiter in the southwestern sky and Saturn in the southern sky. Just before dawn, Venus rises as the morning planet on the eastern horizon. During this month, we will be able to watch the Delta Aquarid meteor shower that will reach its peak on July 27th.
