New Binary Star System Pulses Powerfully Every 2 Minutes

Using ESO’s Very Large Array (VLA) and other space telescopes, astronomers found a new binary star system that pulses every 2 minutes. The system consists of the white dwarf that is 200,000 times the mass of our planet and the red dwarf, which is one-third the mass of our Sun.
