NASA Spot a Candidate for the Smallest Black Hole

Using data from the NASA’s Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer (RXTE), scientists spot a candidate for the smallest black hole. Namely, they have noticed a specific pattern called ‘heartbeat’ that point in the binary star system that consists of a regular star and the black hole.
