NASA Has Spotted ‘Earth’s Bigger, Older Cousin’

NASA astronomers have discovered an Earth-like planet, Kepler 452-b, in the constellation Cygnus that is 1,400 light-years away from our planet. Kepler 452-b is located in the habitable zone, which means that the temperature and atmosphere can support the presence of water. A fact that the planet orbits around the star similar to our Sun makes it the best candidate for the life-sustaining planet.
