NASA Detected Rare Binary System in Nearby Galaxy

Using the NASA’s Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope, astronomers have detected a Gamma-ray binary system, a rare system that consists of a black hole orbiting around a huge star. This is the first time they have discovered the Gamma-ray binary system in a nearby galaxy. It is located in the Large Magellanic Cloud area.
