Charon’s Red Spot Comes from Pluto’s Atmosphere

Using data from the NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft gathered in July, last year, scientists have discovered that the Pluto’s largest moon, Charon, has a red spot that possibly comes from Pluto’s atmosphere. Its color is caused by methane gas from Pluto’s atmosphere.
