Bizarre Frankenstein Galaxy Is Made of Parts of Other Galaxies

Using data from other telescopes such as NASA’s Galaxy Evolution Explorer (GALEX) space telescope, scientists find a rare, bizarre Frankenstein galaxy that is formed by the parts of other neighboring galaxies. The monster galaxy is ten times bigger than previously thought and is 250 million light-years away from our planet.
