Astronomers Reveal the Mystery Behind Supernova Explosion

A team of scientists examined a supernova in the galaxy UGC 5189A with the Very Large Telescope in Chile and discovered the mystery about stardust produced by supernova explosions. They found out that the grains of dust are big enough to survive the explosion of a supernova and continue to grow after the outburst.
