Ancient Mega-Flood Left Its Marks on Mars

Scientists have captured a new image that shows the topography of Mars’ region Kasei Valles that was supposed to be flooded 3.6 – 3.4 billion years ago. Its channel system spreads through the region about 3,000 kilometers bordering on the east with the volcanic region Tharsis.
